The D1 Nation will be in the house on Friday as McNeil takes on Pflugerville.  The Mavs 21 game winning streak (their lone loss was opening night) will be on the line against the Panthers.  Last night the Mavs beat Stony Point behind 2014 G Trey Dilwoth’s 15 points and 14 from 2012 G Robert Waters.

Harker Heights 54  Killeen Ellison 49

A key late muffed shot off a rebound actually went in late for 2012 G C.J. Rodriguez (13) and 2012 G Thomas Cherry added 15 in the HH win over cross town Ellison.

A&M Consolidated 45  Killeen Shoemaker  41  (Double OT)

A defensive battle was decided in two overtimes with 2013 P Jimmie Gilbert scoring 4 of his 8 points for Consol.  2012 stud Alex Caruso (Texas A&M signee) led all scorers with 18 points.

Killeen 67  Austin Hyde Park  57

Victor Glaze had 22 points, including 3 triples for the Runnin’ Roos.

Austin Bowie 58  New Braunfels 34

No surprise that Coach Collier is now starting to pull tricks out of his sleeve as one of the Cen Tex’s top coaches put a blanket on New Braunfels star 2012 Kyle Hittle (13) and worked his match up zone to perfection as Bowie rolled behind 2012 Mareik Isom (Arkansas-Little Rock) as he scored 27 points.

Copperas Cove 91  Bryan 67

The wheels have really come off the bus at Bryan.  Grade issues, injuries to key players J.Mychal Reese (Texas A&M signee) 2013 F 6’7″ A.J. Pullian AND the defection of 2013 G Travon Landry (Tennessee commit) and 2013 W Chris Johnson have left the cupboard bare. Cove, under LBJ grad and St. Mary’s star Billy White is beginning to build a program at football crazed Copperas Cove.  He got 23 points from Deion Robinson and 14 from Fab Freshman Rashard Odomes in the thumping of the Vikings.

Lake Travis 73  Cedar Park Vista Ridge 43

2013 G 6’4″ Stefan Vidovic led a balanced Cavs attack with 15 points.

Cedar Park  67  Marble Falls 34

2012 F Travis Guebert continues his hot recent scoring pace as he had 24 points for the Timber Wolves in their taming of the Mustangs.

Pflugerville 67  Round Rock Westwood 38

2013 G T.J. Williams had 20 points as he helped the Panthers cause the Warriors to surrender.

Austin Anderson 75  Austin McCallum 52

2012 Hayden Graham (Air Force) had 19, 2013 G John Gramlich had 17 while 2013 Rasmus Bach added 15 for Anderson. Bach is beginning to emerge as a reliable third option for the Trojans. This could be key for their season.
