The highlight for me was the Denver-Northern Colorado game where soph Paul Garnica of San Antonio Lee faced off against frosh Royce O’Neale of Harker Heights. Both players had outstanding games but it was the feeling of family that was special with several of our families including Royce’s mom, Deborah and Cody Doolin’s dad Jim contacting me during the game cheering BOTH boys on.  That was pretty cool.
