Hump Day Basketball Results

Yesterday I took in a couple of Phoenix area high school games and then had a chance to interact with San Francisco, USC Head Coach Kevin O’Neil and then spent the evening at a junior college game with Texas Tech Head Coach Billy Clyde Gillispie.  Continuing to develop relationships with college programs that benefit the members of the D1 Nation!

Coach Max and Coach Gillispie at John Lucas’ Camp Right Way while Coach was in between gigs at Kentucky and Texas Tech. (That might be the closest he ever comes to someone in a Texas Longhorns shirt…lol)

San Antonio Clark 66  Seguin 51
Seniors Travis Matthews (14) and Adam Perez  (12) and Carter Josephs (8) led the way to victory for the Cougars.

2012 Carter Josephs is steady as a rock in the deep Clark bckcourt.

Tuesday evening 2012 W Jeffrey Rodewold poured in 30 points as Alamo Heights beat New Braunfels 60-54.

2012 W 6’6″ Jeffrey Rodewald will be primed for an April signing as he continues his high level of play.  He’s also on a quest to capture back to back District MVP Honors.

San Antonio Sam Houston 81   San Antonio Central Catholic  74
The story of this game is not the score but the fact that two of Central Catholic’s freshmen are really beginning to emerge on the varsity level.  2015 G Jorden Kite scored 15 while 2015 W Jordan Murphy added 12.
