Apparently, the “snow day” off agreed with Leander’s 6’6″ Mark Nwakamma as he avalanched the opposition with 26 points.

Pflugerville 71  Georgetown 62
The Panthers continue to roll through district play undefeated like a hot knife through butter.  For the second time, Georgetown led P’ville at the half when Deon Mitchell (Northern Iowa) went to work and grounded the Eagles as he gave them 20 points.  Georgetown Senior F, Logan Webb’s 34 points were wasted in this one.

Pflugerville’s Deon Mitchell turned on the gas and then it was all over.

Jake Kocher (Texas A&M-Corpus Christi) scored from the perimeter and at the goal as he had 43 points in the blowout win.

In a huge upset down San Antone way with the weather about 28 degrees outside, Senior F Brig Gerlich was too hot to handle for the Judson Rockets as he scored 20 points.  Senior Raynell Ishman had 17 for Judson.

2012 WG Kyle Hittle connected for 27 points as the Unicorns look towards the playoffs.

Senior G Devonta Davis leads a surging Thunderbirds squad with 17 points.  He had better support from his team mates and it was enough to overcome the San Marcos duo of 2012 Colin Hart (22) & 2012 WG Allex Austin (21).

San Antonio Churchill 77  San Antonio Madison 63
The Firm of Lammert & Lammert gave Madison the business down low as Senior Clark (25) & 2012 Connor (22) led the way.  Senior Andre Scott had 17 for Madison.

Max Yon (Air Force) had 26 & PG Tre Demps (Northwestern) added 16 in the win.  2012 G Matt Gramling had 21 for the Brahmas in the loss.

Two quality players & quality citizens. Max Yon (left) will fly high at Air Force next season, while 2012 G Matt Gramling (right) has already been offered by West Point.

2011 F Ansley Benjamin had 13 while 2012 G Adam Perez chipped in with 10 as the Cougars nabbed the win.

2012 WG Uche Ofoegbu had 23 points in the win, while 2012 team mate Marcus Roper added 17.

Taft took advantage of Warren’s 2012 F Taurean Waller-Prince being in foul trouble as they took command in the second half.  2011 G Deondre Logn led the way with 28 in the win, while Waller-Prince had 15 in the loss for the Warriors.

2012 W Jeremy Rodewald had 23 as the Mules kicked SV.

New Braunfels Canyon 57  Schertz Clemens 49
2012 P 6’9″ Andrew Poulter broke out for 19 points in Canyon’s victory
