Girls Varsity Friday Night Round Up

Del Valle 30  Anderson 28
(L) 2011 F 5’10 Monique Elveen added 10 in the win against Anderson. Monique has signed with East Texas Baptist and will be a great player at the next level.
(R) 2014 W 5’10 Saundra Gulliory added 8 in the lost. Saundra is quickly emerging into one of the best prospects in the class of 2014.
(L)  2012 G 5’6 Caitlin Kriessel-Bigler notched 10. Caitilin is a smooth point guard with loads of potential. She has really shown her ability to get to the rack. Caitlin also has excellent range from the perimeter and can burn you from deep.
(R) 2011 F 6’0 Summer Postell has been excellent for the Cardinals. Summer added 10 last night and will continue to be a major player for Del Valle.

Hutto 49  Connally 41
2012 G 5’9 Kayla Winkfeild notched 10 in the win against Caldwell. Winkfeild has adequate size and athleticism with a nice skill set. The junior guard can attack the basket or pull up with the mid range. One of the most impressive things about Kayla is a vertial leap. I mean this kid can jump out of the gym. 
2011 G 5’5 Haylea Jackson continues to be major for the Hippos. Haylea plays aggressive defense and will shoot your lights out.

Marble Falls 44  Cedar Park 52

(L) 2013 W 6’0 Kiara Etheridge is a high quality player with loads of next level potential. Kiara added 20 in the lost to Cedar Park. Ertheridge is ranked 5th in scoring for the state in the class 2013. College coaches should definitely watch this as she will be a major prospect in the coming years.
(R) 2014 G 5’10 Sarah Stripling added 10. Sarah continues to be impressive on both ends of the floor. The freshman from marble Falls has excellent skills and will definitely be a next level player.
Akins 63  Bowie 49
(L) 2011 G 5’5 Vanessa Winston has stepped it up to help Akins to a 1st place lead in District 26 5A. Winston added 19 on Tuesday and 12 last night. Winston will continue to be a major player for the Lady eagles and will do good things at the next level.
(R) 2011 F 5’10 Danielle Lofton has held the glue together for Akins. Lofton added 20 last night and has scored in double figures all season long.
