McDonald has loads of potential. He is long and has a nice touch down low. He also is skilled enough to shoot from the perimeter. He tends to migrate away from the paint a little too much. If he puts on 20 lbs he can be an extremely tough down low with his athleticism and cause mismatches as he pulls other traditional “four men” away from the goal. Definitely a D1 player waiting for the right opportunity.
