Desert Invitational Preview

The Texas D-1 Ambassadors are traveling today from Las Vegas NV,  Richmond VA & Kansas City MO and will meet up to combine rosters from all four of their Texas teams down to two groups for the two season ending Phoenix tournaments which begin tomorrow in the Valley of the Sun.

One group, which will feature some of our outstanding younger players, mixed in with 2011’s will compete at Chandler High School in Chad Groth’s Desert Invitational.  This is an inaugural event, with my friend Groth showing great business savvy in coat tailing the country’s top grassroots event, the Phoenix Desert Duel.  And why not?  With almost every D-1 program in the country in attendance at the Duel, you have to figure a good portion of the guys will head 15 minutes down the street to catch additional prospects.
